I have three food clubs and their all equally good in their own way. However, right now I want to tell you about the Gourmet Club. We are three couples (please don’t judge me for being a couples dinner person) and we all love good food and wine. Last Friday was the fifth time we had the club and it just keeps getting better and better. The starter was oysters (Danish, French and Dutch – I apparently prefer Dutch oysters …), the middle was hot duck (hot dogs with confit de canard), the main was pollack en papillote and the end was homemade cornets with licorice ice cream and fresh raspberries – and they did this with only one days notice! I have to say, I’m beginning to feel the pressure of me and Andreas being the next hosting couple …
